D'OH! PC's/WIN 95-98 ONLY! So you want to hear Simpsons sounds on you computer? If you're not sure how to do this, you're at the right place... unless you have a MAC; or an AMIGA; or, well, anything but Win95/98... D'Oh! Keep your eyes peeled, though. We may yet learn how to do this on a Mac... STEP ONE: CONTROL PANEL Bring up the main menu from the "Start" button, and click on Settings|Control Panel... STEP TWO: SOUNDS CONTROL In the Control Panel, click on the "Sounds" icon... STEP THREE: SOUNDS PROPERTIES A "Sounds Properties" window will pop up, with the names of several "events" listed. Underneath the "events" box, you see the "sound" box. It either has a filename to a sound in it, or it is blank. Hit the "browse" button, and find the Simpson sound on your hard drive that you want to play for that event. STEP FOUR: BROWSE/SET The easiest step of all--once you've set up the sounds you want, click "OK". You may have to re-start your computer, depending on your system configuration. Bingo! You're set! | |||
